You should expect to see Senecio grow to an approximate height and spread of 50cm (20”).
Senecio are best planted in well-drained soil of chalk, clay, sand and loam within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. Position in an area where it will thrive in a hot, sunny spot where it will quickly form clumps. Senecio tolerate salt-winds and so are an ideal addition to a coastal garden.
Once established, Senecio are extremely drought tolerant and should be watered sparingly. Make sure they are exposed to plentiful light but sheltered from potential adverse weather conditions. Ensure that you remove.
It is possible to propagate Senecio by seed sown during the spring or by division as new growth appears.
