Where to plant Peaches


Peaches are best planted in a moist but well-drained soil of sand, chalk, or loam within an acidic, alkaline, or neutral pH balance. They are best planted in a sheltered position that receives full sun. Peaches are well suited to being planted in wall-side borders. Dwarf varieties are also available that are suited to being planted in pots on a patio.

Peaches are best grown as fan-trained plants in most of the UK, however in southern England they can be grown as a free-standing bush. Dwarf varieties are perfect for planting in pots/containers.
