Enrich the planting area with a generous amount of compost. Plant your Omphalodes as the same depth and width as the root ball and water thoroughly to settle the soil into place.
Apply a generous amount of mulch around the planting area to deter weeds and to keep the soil cool. Water your plants regularly especially during periods of drought. Cut back plants once they have finished flowering.
It is possible to propagate Omphalodes by seed sown in pots in a cold frame in spring or by division..
