Nemesia are best planted in a moist but well-drained soil of loam or sand within an acidic, neutral or alkaline PH balance. They are best positioned in an area of full sun or part shade. Nemesia are well suited to flower beds and borders within courtyard, cottage and informal garden settings and make a fine addition to pots and containers.

Amend the planting area with a generous amount of organic matter and mix thoroughly to the native soil to improve drainage as they are intolerant of waterlogging.
Water deeply and thoroughly and keep soil moist in active growth. Pinch out the growing tips to produce a much bushier plant. Nemesia will benefit from a slow release fertiliser, applying only once throughout active growth.
It is possible to propagate Nemesia by softwood cuttings in spring or summer.
