Nemesia are best planted in a moist, well-drained soil of loam or sand within an acidic, neutral or alkaline PH balance. They are happiest when in a position of full sun as this will promote profuse blooms, but in hotter climates they will thrive equally in part shade. They look good planted with other blooms in flower beds and borders within courtyard, cottage and informal garden settings and make a find addition to pots and containers.

Amend the planting area with a generous amount of organic matter and mix thoroughly to the native soil to improve drainage, as Nemesia are intolerant to waterlogging.
Water deeply and thoroughly and keep soil moist during active growth. Pinch out the growing tips to produce a much bushier plat. Nemesia will benefit from a slow release fertiliser, applying only once throughout active growth.
It is possible to propagate Nemesia by softwood cuttings in spring or summer.
