Myosotis are annuals, perennials or biennials with simple leaves and clusters of small blue, yellow, pink or white flowers with yellow or white eyes. They are more commonly known as Forget-me-nots. They make excellent groundcover and are best planted in borders and containers. They suit an informal or cottage style garden. You should expect to see your Myosotis grow to an approximate height and spread of up to 50cm (20in) but this will depend on the variety.
Myosotis are best planted in a moist but well-drained soil of clay, loam or chalk within an acidic, neutral or alkaline PH balance. They are best positioned in an area of sun or partial shade.
Myosotis are a low-maintenance plant to do not require much care. Keep the soil moist and do not allow to dry out. You may wish to remove or cut back old plants to prevent them from self-seeding.
It is possible to propagate Myosotis by seed.
