Cobaea are sensitive to extreme weather conditions, especially the cold and so ensure they receive adequate protection if temperatures drop. Cobaea will require support as they grow as this will retain tidy, strong and neat growth. If you need to control their size as they mature, pinch the stems when they reach the top of the support or once at eye level. This will encourage branching and bud set. Water regularly but do not let the soil become waterlogged.
It is possible to propagate Cobaea by seed or softwood cuttings.
