How to care for Ceanothus

Water Ceanothus well in dry conditions. Ceanothus require minimal pruning. In general, they do not respond well to pruning of main branches. They should only be cut back if they outgrow their final planting area or to neaten the overall shape.

How to propagate Ceanothus

It is possible to propagate Ceanothus by seed or semi-ripe cuttings in mid to late summer.
