Argyranthemum are best planted in a well-drained soil of sand, clay or loam within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. They are best positioned in an area that receives full sun, where there is shelter from intense midday heat to prevent scorching. Argyranthemum are well suited to being planted in flower beds and borders within courtyard and city gardens or in pots and containers.

Argyranthemum should be planted around 30cm (12in) apart for them to spread to optimum effect. Water thoroughly and deeply after planting to set plants into place.
Feed monthly with a balanced all-purpose liquid fertiliser to help your plants develop and flourish. Pinch the tips regularly until any flower buds appear during the late spring and cut back to promote new growth and fresh blooms which can be undertaken at any time during the growing season.
It is possible to propagate Argyranthemum by root softwood cuttings in spring or hardwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots at any other point in the year.
