Arabis are best planted in a well-drained soil of sand, chalk or loam within an acidic, alkaline or neutral PH balance. They are best positioned in an area that receives full sun. Arabis are well suited to a gravel or rock garden in beds, borders and containers They also make great groundcover.

Soil may need to be amended with grit or compost to ensure good drainage. Water well once planted to settle the soil into place.
Remove wilted or faded flowers to retain a tidy appearance. There is no need to cut Arabis back.
It is possible to propagate Arabis by softwood cuttings.
