Anemonella are best planted in a moist but well-drained loam-based soil within an acidic or neutral PH balance. They are best positioned in a partly shaded area. Anemonella ae great for under planting and brightening dull areas. They make a fantastic addition to a rock pool or pond.

Plant at a depth of 3cm (1in) with companion plants spaced between 12-18cm (5in) apart.
Water regularly when in bloom and extra during periods of drought. Apply a layer of organic leafy mulch to retain moisture levels whilst suppressing weeds and supplementing the soil with additional nutrients.
It is possible to propagate Anemonella by seed sown in containers within a cold frame or by division during the early spring.
