Adenium are best planted in a well-drained soil of sand or loam within an alkaline or neutral PH balance. In the UK, these should only be grown as a house plant, as they will not survive the outdoor temperatures. Choose a sunny spot.

Adeniums will need to be kept warm and dry, similar to their native Easy African habitat. Porous terracotta pots are ideal for potting these plants into.
Allow Adenium to dry out before each water. During the active growth phase of summer, provide more water but don’t ever let the plant stand in water.
It is possible to propagate Adenium by seed sown as soon as it is ripe or by root cuttings from non-flowering shoots in summer with bottom heat.
