This Erysimum trio from the ‘Winter Series’ compliment each other perfectly, ranging from fiery red and orange through to yellow and then to white and pink. Flowers emerge in March and, with deadheading, will last through until September– bringing dense racemes of blooms with wonderful fragrance. Plants are perfect for a rock garden, the middle of a border, or a container display. They are easy-going too as, aside from a light haircut after flowering, they can be left alone to do their own, rather spectacular thing. Erysimum Perennial Collection is made up of the fabulously fiery ‘Winter Passion’ (H: 50cm); and the more delicately coloured 'Winter Charme' (H: 30cm) and the bright and sunny ‘Winter Light’ (H: 30cm). All prefer a spot in well-drained soil which benefits from full sun or partial shade and plants will spread from 40-60cm. As a hardy and half-hardy collection of evergreen perennials, these plants should not need additional winter protection unless temperatures fall below -5°C to -10°C.
