History and Origin:

Tithonia are a genus of plants within the Asteraceae family, native to Mexico.

About:

Tithonia are annuals, perennials or shrubs with frosty-coloured, ovate foliage, slim, slender stems and solitary, daisy-like flowers that emerge during late summer through autumn. Tithonia are best suited to flower beds and borders within a cottage, informal or gravel garden. You should expect to see Tithonia grow to an approximate height of 1.5-2.5m (5-8) and a spread of 10=50cm (4-20).
