Tanacetum are a genus of flowering plants within the Asteraceae family, native to regions in the Northern Hemisphere. They are most commonly referred to as ‘Tansies’.
Tanacetum are annuals, subshrubs or evergreen or herbaceous perennials with often ferny, fragrant foliage and daisy-like flowers that appear during the summer. These plants are traditionally a medicinal herb used to treat toothache, arthritis and migraines.
