Morina is a genus within the Caprifoliaceae family. The genus name was given in honour of Louis Morin de Saint-Victor (1635–1715), a French physician, botanist and meteorologist.
Morina are evergreen perennial plants that form into a spire of fragrant, spiny leaves and clusters of tubular blooms that spread into spikes throughout summer. They are best suited to flower beds and borders within a coastal, informal or city garden. You should expect to see Morina grow to an approximate height of 1 metre (3’) and a spread of 50cm (20”).
