Geraniums are also referred to as ‘Cranesbills’ by many in Britain and are a closely related genus to the Pelargonium, which containers some 280 species.
Geraniums are perennials, biennials and annuals and are a classic garden favourite within the UK. They have distinct and slender 5-petalled flowers that are produced in a range of varying colours. Geraniums are versatile blooms and can be grown in both containers and within flower beds and borders.
