Garrya are a genus of flowering plants within the Garryaceae family, native to Mexico. They are commonly known as ‘silk tassel or tassel bush’.
Garrya are fast growing and robust evergreen shrubs that produce striking leathery leaves and small green flowers that hang elegantly in pendant-like fashion, throughout late winter and early spring.
