History and Origin:

Fabiana are a genus of flowering plants within the Solanaceae family, native to South America. They are commonly referred to as ‘False Heath’ as the foliage closely resembles the appearance of artificial heaths.

Fabiana are evergreen shrubs with finite silvery-green, needle-like foliage and uniquely formed tubular flowers. They are a member of the tomato family and display a remarkable mixture of colour and in some varieties, fragrance, throughout the summer months, leaving stunning foliage for winter interest.
