Eupatorium are a genus of flowering plants in the Asteraceae family, native to temperate regions of the North Hemisphere. They are commonly referred to as ‘bonesets’. It is thought that the genus is named after the formidable Roman enemy, Mithridates Eupator, an ancient King of Pontus.
Eupatorium are bushy annuals, herbaceous perennials or evergreen shrubs with tiny cylindrical blooms on tall, rigid stems and feathery green foliage.
