Dicksonia is a genus of around 25 species of tree ferns. The plant was named after James Dickson, a Scottish botanist, nurseryman and plant collector.
Dicksonia are evergreen tree ferns with stout trunks and large fronds at the top of the trunk. They are well-suited to borders, beds, containers and pots and are perfect for woodland gardens.
