Crinum is a genus within the Amaryllidaceae family, native to Africa and occurring in America, southern Asia and Australia. The genus name is derived from the Greek word ‘Krinon’ meaning ‘white lily’.
Crinum are bulbous perennial plants that produce an abundance of gorgeous and aromatic flowers set upon strap-shaped foliage from late summer through to October.
