Crambe

History and Origin:

Crambe is a genus of around 20 species in the cabbage family Brassicaceae. They are native to Europe, Turkey, Asia and Africa in a range of different environments. The name Crambe originates from a Greek word meaning 'a kind of cabbage'.

About:

Crambe can be annuals or perennials. They have large leaves and produce racemes of large panicles of flowers in summer. They are best suited to informal and wildflower garden styles and are happy in beds and borders.
