Cotinus are a genus of flowering plants in the Anacardiaceae family, native to regions within the Northern Hemisphere. They are most commonly referred to as the ‘Smoketree’ or ‘Smokebush’.
Cotinus are large deciduous shrubs or small trees with simple yet intriguingly attractive leaves that create fabulous autumnal colour.
