Caltha are a genus within the Ranunculaceae family. They appear in most warm and cool regions of both the northern and southern hemispheres. They are commonly known as the ‘Marsh Marigold’.
Caltha are herbaceous perennials that display spectacular heart-shaped or rounded leaves and an abundance of yellow cup-shaped flowers between March and May, sometimes lasting long into the summer.
