Akebia

History and Origin:

Akebia are a genus within the family Lardizabalaceae and are native to China, Korea and Japan. The word Akebia comes from the Japanese name ‘Akebi’ where the leaves are often used to flavour tea.

About:

Akebia are semi-evergreen climbing shrubs that produce stunning foliage and cup-shaped blooms that share a captivating scent. Flowers are often followed by large fruits if cross-pollinated by another clone.
