Ajuga is a genus from the Lamiaceae family, native to Europe, Asia and Africa. They are commonly known as ‘bugleweed or ground pine’.
Ajuga are rhizomatous evergreen perennials. Foliage colour will differ between varieties but generally are lively and often iridescent. Two-lipped flowers form handsome spikes throughout spring and summer.
