Aeonium

History and Origin:

Aeonium is a genus of the family Crassulaceae and is one of the most sought after succulents. The name is from the Greek word Ďaionosí which means ageless. Aeonium are native to the Canary Islands although some have been found in east Africa.

About:

Aeonium are evergreen succulents with dark, fleshy leaves that form stunning, dark rosettes on branching stems. Modest star-shaped blooms with clusters of narrow petals emerge during the spring. They are best suited to small pots and containers in a cool, airy environment such as a conservatory or a greenhouse.
