Aconitum are a genus that is part of the Ranunculaceae family, originating from central and western China and northern America. They are also known as monkshood and wolf’s bane.

About:

Aconitum are alternatively known as monkshood and are renowned for their magnificent hooded blooms set on tall, majestic spires. Aconitum are a fantastic addition to flower beds and borders within a cottage or informal garden. Take care when handling Aconitum as they are highly toxic. Always wear protective gloves when planting or transferring and take extra caution with open wounds. Do not ingest!
