Rich tomato orange blooms of Impatiens hawkeri 'Clockwork™ Orange' will add colourful pops of colour threaded through the front of your borders or filling summer pots and baskets. Affectionately known as ‘Busy Lizzies’, Impatiens flower from early summer and well into autumn. To ensure a constant stream of blooms, deadhead flowers and seedpods regularly and feed your plants with liquid fertiliser every 2 weeks. The dark green foliage adds depth and fantastic contrast to the vibrant flowers. Usually grown in the UK as annual bedding, Impatiens can sometimes be overwintered in a frost-free place to flower the following year. Neat Impatiens hawkeri 'Clockwork™ Orange'’ is perfect for summer containers - plant ‘en masse’ for impact, or as a bushy companion to more delicate summer bedding plants like Nemesia or Lobelia. Thrives in any rich, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and grows to a height and spread of 30cm. Keep potted plants well-watered, especially during hot periods.
