Tell Me More...
With elegant poise, Anemone hupehensis japonica Pamina waves showy flowers high above attractive clumps of maple-like leaves, providing movement in your garden from late summer well into the autumn. Despite their name, Japanese Anemone originate in China, but were cultivated in Japan for centuries. Dark pink, semi-double flowers with bright yellow stamens will brighten up any shady area and are perfect for attracting local butterflies. Anemone Pamina has been given the Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Like all Anemone, Pamina is loved by bees and butterflies while being slug, rabbit and deer resistant. She is incredibly versatile and thrives in almost any soil, including coastal areas for years without any winter protection. Reaching a mature height and spread of approximately 1m, she is said to be happiest in moist, well-drained soil in partially shady borders and containers.
